Blockdrop — Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to the Blockdrop Android application, published by StarzsTech, Singapore. By installing or playing Blockdrop you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

1. Who can play

Blockdrop is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to make any purchase in the game.

2. Your licence to play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play Blockdrop on Android devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. You may not copy, modify, decompile, resell, or redistribute the game or any part of it, except where the law expressly allows it despite this clause.

3. Gems, themes and other virtual items

• Gems, themes, block styles, hints, revives and any other in-game items are virtual items with no real-world value. They are a licence to use a feature inside the game, not property.
• Virtual items cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the game, and cannot be transferred to another person or account.
• Tournament prizes are paid in gems only.
• We may adjust the price, availability or effect of virtual items as part of updating the game. Items you have already unlocked stay unlocked.

4. Purchases and refunds

Blockdrop offers one optional purchase, Remove Ads. It is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play — we never see your payment details. It stops the ads that interrupt between games and unlocks every theme and block style; optional ads you choose to watch remain available.

Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. Because Remove Ads is delivered instantly and permanently, we do not offer additional refunds beyond what Google Play provides, except where the law requires it.

5. Fair play

Leaderboard and tournament scores are verified: the server replays every submitted game and only accepts scores it can reproduce. You agree not to:

• submit forged, altered or automated scores or game data;
• use bots, scripts, modified versions of the app, or exploits;
• interfere with the leaderboard service or other players' use of it.

We may remove scores, withhold or reverse tournament prizes, reset a display name, or exclude a player from online features if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. Offline play is unaffected.

6. Display names

If you set a display name, it is shown publicly on the leaderboards. Do not use a name that is offensive, misleading, impersonates someone else, or includes personal information such as a phone number. We may reset names that break this rule.

7. Leaderboards and tournaments

• The weekly tournament runs on UTC weeks and ends automatically; prizes are credited after the week closes.
• When the game's scoring rules change, existing scores may be retired or boards reset so that old and new scores are not unfairly compared.
• Our determination of ranks, verified scores and prizes is final, save for obvious error.

8. Ads

Blockdrop shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. How advertising data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Online features and availability

The core game works offline. Leaderboards, tournaments, sign-in and cloud save depend on our servers and on services provided by Google, and may be interrupted, changed, or — with reasonable notice where practicable — discontinued. Virtual items and purchases that work offline are not affected by online features being unavailable.

10. Ownership

The game, its code, artwork, music, names and logos are owned by StarzsTech or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These terms give you no ownership of any of it.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Blockdrop at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to online features for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. Sections 3, 10, 12 and 13 survive termination.

12. Disclaimer

Blockdrop is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the game being uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under applicable consumer law, including the Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, that cannot be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StarzsTech is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the game, and our total liability for all claims relating to Blockdrop is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero if you have made no purchase). Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud.

14. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and significant changes will be noted in the app's update description. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the consumer law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
